I have 2 sat dishes, one is the 18" round dish for DirecTV and the second is the 35" grey dish for DirecWay PC (one way service). I have the 2 dishes because I bought them at different times and installed them myself. The DirecWay dish has a heart-shaped feed assembly that connects to a round LNB that says "Sat 2" on it, and it's coax goes directly to my DirecPc modem, but the dish has an "extra" feed on it (round lens is shaped like the one on my DirecTV dish) which I believe is for DirecTV and would allow you to use just one dish for both (but I'm not sure on this as the manual is confusing and seems incomplete). Anyway both systems work well (at the moment). My question is:

I would like to use the unused feed assemble on the DirecPC dish (35" oblong) to connect to a DVB-S card in a spare computer to pick up the FTA satellite stations and feed back to my TV. If this is possible, then what would I be able to pick up at the fixed position that I have it mounted at now? It's now at 128.7 degrees, and my DSS (other dish) is at 142 degrees, (which would seem to contradict my thought that the oblong dish can be used for both??)

If anyone can shed some light on this for me .... I appreciate.
