  1. I copy it to avi format and it looks fine but then when I try to make it into a VCD the color gets all messed up. How can I fix this?

  2. How can you make DragonBall look better? I'd start by hiring an animation team to create 3D realistic versions of the characters, hire a scripting team to improve the storylines, and then get a good PR department and market to the kids, it could be the XMas bonanza of the year!

How to improve your video? Not sure. We need WAY more details... what is your source? You say you have an AVI and it looks good, but converts bad. So I'll assume you downloaded a DivX AVI file and now you want it to be a VCD MPG. If this is correct, do a search for improving DivX quality when going to MPG. People are ALWAYS asking about this, so there's plenty of information out there for you. Good luck.

  3. It was a VHS tape that I copied with VirtualDub and PICVideo MJPEG CODEC. It is not DIVIX. I will try a search though.

  4. 1st of all VHS copies really bad when converted to VCD, I use SVHS and copy to SVCD I would not recomend to go any lower on the video source (like VHS) or the converting (VCD) I have been taping for 3 months now from canada on cartoon network a show called "Reboot" they have been turning out great, but I use the method above and of course I am capturing directly to MPEG2 SVCD with a hardware encoder card WINPVR.
