I just ordered one from Amazon yesterday and downloaded its manual directly from Sony. After answering the prompts regarding TV screen setup, it then prompts for the type of audio setup being used. What I don't understand is why there are two options for using the standard stereo red and white outputs--"No" for TV and "L/R" if you tell it you are using an amplifier/receiver. Is there any difference in audio/video performance depending on which option is chosen regarding the use of the stereo red and white outputs? Thank you. BTW. Can anybody come up with a region-unlocking hack for this player?
