SVCD Help!!!!

I am trying to encode an AVI/DIVX file into a svcd. The whole process works perfectly. I than use Toast 6.09 in the multi CD XA mode in which i drop the 2 .img files and it burns perfectfully. The SVCD plays perfectly on my mac using VLC, but THE PROBLEM IS it doesn't work on my standalone DVD player. It just plays the first few seconds of video and than just restarts. I am stuck here on what to do. I use toast to make a svcd with the same avi and everytihng works fine, and also whwn I make the file into a DVD. Any Help???

Did you use "SVCD ffmpeg"? If so try also with "SVCD mpeg2enc" which has more compliant output for picky players.
