  1. what a day!
first PSU packs in then i stick my shiny new 6600 gt in only to find it needs a "4pin molex connected"
well i've not got a spare one
2 are for HDD's, 2 for DVD writers and one for case fan.
have to point out it's an AGP and this is why i need it.
so where do i go from here?

  2. You can get simple splitters that will give you the extra molex. About $2 at most computer/electronics shops.

  6. athlon 3000xp and lex mainboard.
will get splitter tomorrow and try it out.
but not got much time flying tomorrow night to go back to work.
home for a few days and half of my penultimate day at home spent messing about with pc.
funny thing is even with the shock of thinking my pc was dead and the disappointment of new 6600 gt not working yet, i'm quite happy.
pc's are a bloody addiction lol

for an Athlon XP 3000+, 400 watts is fine.

I also got a 6600GT, brilliant cards, aren't they. Mine is PCI Express though so no need for external power.
