help with my Sony SLV-D300p and Panasonic RV-30

Hey guys....have a problem
downloaded a dvd rip (img file) burned it with nero, plays fine with POWER DVD on my pc...plays fine in neighbors X-box...neither one of my two dvd players will play it

the first one is a
SONY SLV-D300P
second one is a
Panasonic RV-30

both are advertised to play DVD-R (and i used a TDK DVD-R 4x as my media) I realize from posts on this board that the above players might be picky with the media but before I start wasting my money on buying media that wont work..... I was hoping someone might tell me exactly which brand type I should by to try first... (from my research I think I should get Ritek G04 DVD-R)....please help me out guys...

I'm Guessing this is your first DVD burn? Its good to hear what other People say will work,But sometimes its best just to try and see what works for you,I have 2 DVD Players same model/Number One will Play ritek one wont.

hey canada... would this be a ritek g04? also can you tell me what you used to burn...just nero? thanks for the reply

I use Nero/Record Now/Ulead/DVD Decrypter. Almost everything. I use Ritek 8x/4x.
