  1. i would like to make an attempt at making a disc with 2 different camera shots. are there any guides or pages with tips for this floating around? what's the best program to use?

    DVD Lab Pro can handle multi-angle disks. There aren't many programs that can do it, hence not many guides. There isn't even one at the mediachance site.

  3. i have dvd lab pro, but where do i start? i don't know how to trim the two sources down to make them the same length and mix the angles together.

    For that you need an editor. Vegas or Premiere Pro would be a good start. Add both to the timelines, then use audio and well as visual cues to line them up. Trim where necessary, then output as seperate tracks.

    After that, start reading the DLP help files.

    I didn't know DLP could author a dvd with multiple angles (the kind that switches the angle during playback when hitting the "angle" button on a remote control).

    Sorry, back that up. It does seamless branching now, true multi-angle is still in development.

    Sorry to get your hopes up.

    You might be looking a scenarist or similar ($20k and up) for this feature, unless encore can do it.
