If your final product is DVD, check 'What is DVD' to the left <<< to see what the requirements are. You will need MPEG-2 video and MPEG-1 Layer2 sound, or better, AC3 sound. The framerate is 29.97 NTSC (Unless you are in PAL land) and size of 720 x 480 or 352 x 480 pixels.

You will have to author your MPEG-2 files, and then if they are too large to fit on a DVD, you can use DVDShrink to make them smaller. You will get better quality if they are the right size to begin with.

You can always check the attributes of a video file with AVIcodec or Gspot to see the format. Other than this, study the 'Guides' to the left. <<<
