Hello,
http://www.nokiausa.com/phones/3595
My new wireless phone![]()
It replaces my ancient motorola phone. It has to be at least ten years old. I only use it for emergencies so there was no real need to replace it.
But did some reading about prepaid plans for cellphones and bumped into www.tmobile.com and their to go plan. Great stuff. $25 for 130 minutes for 90 days and you have to buy a new card for the next 90 days but any unused minutes carryover!!!! Or for $100 get 1600 minutes for a whole year without needing to reactivate
AND its webenabled and has games and text messaging. SWEET
Kevin
EDIT - forgot to mention it was $20 after rebates too- and it has INSTANT MESSAGING

Good deal. I'm not a fan of prepaid but then again I have been out of contract for some time now so that makes me happy. Plus I have an old "special" plan that for my $20/month I get 750 daytime minutes 500 night and weekend minutes ulimited web browsing and text messaging and all the regulars like caller ID/waiting/Voice Mail blah, blah, blah.
Still, good deal Kevin. -
Hello,
Thanks
Now I actually have a "cool phone"

So instead of getting that wireless phone jack
for your satellite dish, just connect the new
cellphone using a Y adapter and a dongle!
That way you can watch the satellite while your driving! -

No that satellite thread was a feeler thread. Early research like I said. This phone is more needed for emergencies and other stuff.....

That is the same model that me and the old lady carry. I am suprised at how tough it actually is. mine has been fumbled and dropped so many times I couldn't even guess. Mine is thru the company and I don't know what the real plan is for sure, but we got about 30 phones in a minute pool with most phones I think haveing 1500 before we have to start borrowing from the unused time on other phones. Company phone to company phone and I think any cingular customer is free. No long distance charges but I think that they stick it to us on the roaming charges. (I think that we have a pretty big local calling area though, maybe even just across a state border or two) I pay $15 for the old ladys phone thru the company and she lives on it talking to her sister out of state. It has I think a 200 number memory, that is full and makeing me too stupid to remember anyones number in my head. When this one bites the dust there are going to be 200 people that wont be getting calls from me until they call me again!

Good thinking! I forgot about that sims card! It took three different cards to get it up and running. And about every few weeks it crashes and I have to turn the phone off and on a few times to get it working again.

Not exactly the latest model, but reliable. I just replaced mine but my mother still has hers. If you need any help, go here:

It is a nice phone. I am in the market for a PDA and what I really love is something which can combine a phone and a PDA. I am thinking of this one:
