    Because you're transcoding from 44.1khz to 48khz?
    Even the much touted MC encoder has trouble doing that correctly (in my experience).

    Does Vegas output a file that is the same running time length as the video?

    What I do....

    Extract the video as an elementary video stream by its self and then go back and do same for audio in separate conversion ...then author in TMPGenc Author....never any problems thus far.
