    Is there someone driving it?

Interesting, looks like the US, but I guess it could be anywhere.

Too bad the driver isn't road worthy as well The right side of his car is going to look a lot like the left side if he keeps hugging the line the way he is (unless the right side looks like the left side already).

Got this picture from a friend. We were debating whether it's real or doctored. Anybody can tell ? For me, I won't touch that car even with a 10 foot pole.

It looks real to me. If you look carefully there's a reflection of it in the neighboring car's side panel. Also, the back right headlight is leaning outward and I think I see a hint of it's irregular shadow cast on the road. The sunlight direction angle looks consistant with the other cars as well.

Wonder if this guy considers it his "babe mobile" and won't stand to part with it?

From the late 80s through the late 90s, I drove a 1972 Buick Skylark. When I bought it, there'd been two previous owners. And while the original color was probably red, the elements had faded it out to a light orange color. My ex-wife drove a '94 Pontiac Firebird and thought my car was hideous, hehe. It wasn't as bad off as the car in that photo but it wasn't pretty either. However, it had a rebuilt engine and transmission in it and mechanically ran like a Swiss watch. I could always count on it to get from point A to B.

Anyhoo, I told her that the reason I didn't just go out and get a new car was because (A) I was happy with the car and didn't care what it looked like, and (B) potential thieves probably did care what it looked like. In the near decade that I owned it, it was never broken into or vandalized ... which, in our neighborhood, was unusual. I told her that thieves probably were walking down the sidewalk looking for a car to break into or rip off, saw my car, and (snicker) moved to the other side of the street out of pity for me. Yes, her Firebird was broken into.

So, as bad as the car above looks, I'm wondering how it is mechanically. It could be the driver doesn't care what it looks like as long as it continues to go from point A to B reliably.

P.S. I sold the Buick in 2000 for $500, the same amount I paid for it, to a low-income person looking for a reliable work car. Don't know where the Buick is now but I doubt if he was disappointed. I now drive a 2000 model Plymouth Voyager.

My ex's '94 Firebird and my '72 Skylark did look odd parked next to each other, I'll admit that much. She used to refer to our cars as "the beauty and the beast." In my defense (grin), my beast spent less time in the shop than her beauty.

They always break down too. Yet in other episodes in other countries they'll all be driving new Benzes. Great show, hope Rob & Amber win again!

It pretty bad off. I don't think the best body works could get it back together. I wonder how he gets a brake tag for that thing.

I seen some pretty bad cars in Chalmette and the East but never like that one. The piture looks funny though. I not sure if that a real car there.

I drive a pretty old car myself. It is a 1989 Ford Crown Victoria. Ive over 130,000 miles on it. It is almost like new except for the paint is fading. I will have to body shop and get it redone but it cost so much and I don't have the time. If I have to get repair I will do it, but I will never sell the car.

Tenaga Nasional (National Power) supplies electricity for the national power grid. Not university.

  23. Looks like a babe mobile to me. I'll bet he has to beat the girls away. hope he parks way in the back of the parking lots. Hate to see someone hit it with their car door and put a dent in it.
