Digital cable Filters, free PPV???

Is it true if I install a Digital cable filter I would get PPV channels for free?Or do these filters only give you a better image quality?

Sounds like a scam to me. Scams rely on the greed of the mark.

There is some truth to that but there is a possiblity that you may get nailed for it. If you do some research on the net you should be able to find out more on what I mean.

This is an illegal action unless of course you let your cable company know about it and therefore should not be discussed here period.

It is a scam. The devices block communication with your provider, but the billing information is still in your box. After a very short time the provider shuts off your digital cable because they can't communicate with the box. Then when you remove the device, all the billing info goes through and you get one BIG bill. Nothing free here. You can do a Google search for 'Digital cable filters' and get more info.
