    Sorry if this question has already been brought up, but I want to know if the Canopus ADVC-100 can capture video through the television (Not VCR)with an S-video cable and the recommended audio cables.

    I have the advc-100 connected directly to my digital cable box via a/v cables. I don't run it through my vcr tuner. I capture fine by using SCENALYZER LIVE.

    so long as your TV has S-Video out, I don't see why not ...
