  1. Today, or more accurate on the 10th October 2004 a great man has passed away. Most people will know him as "Superman" from the movies, but others will remember him as the gentle, loving, caring father. Some would also remember him as a courageous person, others as the man who would not let his condition define who he is and proved you can fight if you have the will power to withstand anything that comes in your way.

It's been 6 months since the death of Christopher Reeve, a true hero to many.

For me i grow up reading about Reeve and always trying to be like him, not the on-screen Superhero he played but the person himself. Kind, Caring, Honest, Friendly, Loving and so many more things will define him, above all he was a true gentleman. Those who acted with him in the movie said "He didn't play Superman, it was Superman who played him"

"You play the hand you're dealt. I think the game's worthwhile" - Christopher Reeve

He lived 9 years with his "disability" and yet he was more vibrant then anyone who was not disabled! he directed 3 movies, fought for spinal cord injuries and kept himself as active as possible and refused to let doctors tell him what he can or cannot do. They said he would never feel or move below the neck, he proved them wrong on every step.

For the Honour and Memory of Christopher Reeve, 1952-2004

PS: DVD Backup Guide v2.7 and onward are dedicated to Reeve, cause as you all know i use "Superman" as my example in the guides. I know the new guide has not been officialy released yet to hosts, this time it's not my fault but the translators fault. As soon as it's done it will be "re-updated" to latest program revisions and released.

I agree. Christopher Reeve was a class act....before and after his accident. I HATED seeing him in that wheelchair. It hurt me to watch him.
