I was looking around this forums and it seems that Canopus ADVC-100 is the best way to go. I'm thinking on buy it buy it, but I have some questions before I do. Is the capture program that comes along with it good, or do I have to get a third party software to get better results? If so, could someone tell me some programs that work well with Canopus. Is it compatible with virtualdub or is it too old of a program to work with Canopus.
In the capture card description on this site it doesn't list the format which the Canopus saves-- does it capture: MPEG1, MPEG2, ETC.?
