  1. Just wondering if there is any program that can take single frame caps of in avi movies?

    I have tried WinDVD, VLI and MP9. They all play the AVI perfectley, but when u try a print screen, its just blank black screen.

    The option of Bookmark/Capture is blocked out in Win DVD.

    I think you are seeing anoverlay and not really somthing that can be captured via printscreen. I think Virtual Dub will capture a frame for you. I use Studio 9.4 and I can cap a frame from any video loaded to the time line also. Power DVD has that feature but I think it work only on DVDs of MPGs
    No DVD can withstand the power of DVDShrink along with AnyDVD!

  3. I think Media Player Classic saves frames from avi OK - it does everythingelse I've tried it on..
