I have backed up a DVD to my hard drive with MacTheRipper. I stripped out the excess audio tracks and subtitling. I ended up with a VIDEO_TS folder containing one VOB file and nothing else. I am trying to back this up to a blank DVD, but none of the tools I have tried (Handbrake, forty-two, DVD2one X, etc.) seem to work (to reduce the file size). In fact, most of them get weird after I have pointed them to the VIDEO_TS folder.
I assume there are files missing. Is there a program to generate these files or do I need to re-rip the DVD? Thanks.

Point them to the contents of the Video_TS folder, not the folder itself. In other words, double-klick and open it.
Do a complete rip of the original DVD. You can strip out Audio tracks during recompression (DVD2OneX aka DTOX).

P.S.: A talking subject line would be nice next time. -

There is an excellent tutorial at:

Just the MTR section is a bit outdated. But as said before, rip it completely.
