Does anyone have experience piping video over cat-5?
I've set up a box using ATI's TV Wonder card to function as a DVR. The included software allows me to schedule events which I want to record for viewing at a later date.
While I am able to view the captured recording from any system on my network, I'd like to know if there is a way in which I can view the program being captured DURING the capture or even view remotely what is being viewed by the ATI card and not necessarily being recorded.
Thank you

I have plenty of experience with video over cat5, but not sure how it relates to the current question.
As far as watching it remotely, I'm not familiar with a program that would allow you to do it.. -
Check out VLC media player. I'm not sure if it will do what you want, but it does have a streaming video function.
