    Dear guys,
for now, I only have learned to add a logo in a video / film with the VirtualDub through its Frame server serving a *.VDR file to the TMPGEnc software, which creates two files, the *.M2V and *.WAV ones. The problem is that I am trying to Author a dvd with also a slide show option, and I haven't seen the TMPGEnc DVD Author capable to do so. And the others DVD Author softwares that I also have, and can do so, are not able to work with the *.M2V and *.WAV files at the same time. So, what I looking for now, is if that is a way that we can ceatre only a TMPGEnc file, I mean, a *.MPG,p.e., instead of the two ones above, or a DVD Authoring software that can hold the *.M2V and *.WAV files at the same time, and create DVDs with slide show options.
    Sinc.,

dvd-lab supports m2v,wav and it has a built in slideshow creator. not that easy to learn though.

or convert the wav to mpa/mp2 and then join the mpa with the m2v using tmpgenc->file->mpeg tools->simple multiplex. you can't/multiplex join m2v and wav...maybe you can but I haven't seen any such software yet.

Thanks a lot, but there is another problem. I am used to use an external virtualdub logo plug-in which works with 640x480 in the maximum. So, what I have done, is use a plug-in the reduce my videos to 640x480 before use I use it, but I wouldn't like to reduce my videos and increse again anymore. I am trying to use the internal logo filter(plig-in) now. I am trying to create a logo already with a transparence, because I haven't seen the internal logo filter(plug-in) capable to do so.

  4. Use a good graphics app, such as Paintshop Pro, create your logo, make the background transparent and save it as .bmp.
    Import into virtualdub.

Have you tried by yourselve? I mean, have you done a logo with a transparence and used the internal virtualdub logo filter(plug-in)? Because I have tried to create a transparente logo, and the background color ( color around my logo ) still apeared while using the filter(plug-in above)

  6. If I am not mistaken the only format that supports transparent background is the *.GIF format. So that could be your problem. Try saving the image as a GIF file.

The filter only supports true color pictures.
