That had this sale two weeks ago, and were sold out back then. I'll go to mine here again, but I'm not holding my breath.

Not sure about Circuit City stock, but I know Best Buy carries two different spindles of TDK 8x +R media. One type of spindle contains CMC, the other RICOHJPNR02.

The Ricoh discs have "dimples" on the clear plastic top of the spindle.

See my post at cdfreaks. I have included pictures of the Ricoh spindle in that post.

that sucks that they're out of stock....
I went back yesterday and picked up some more
HyperYagami has the right idea!! CompUSA will price-match as well, you just need to have CircuitCity's ad.

It appears this is a new sale. It is in this weeks ad. I hope they are the white inkjet printable, like last time. The website indicates they are available at my store. I don't know how accurate their system is.

How do you know: you said they were out of stock? The last time, they were not even labeled as printable, but they were.

i didn't say they were out of stock
i said i bought some on sunday and then went back again yesterday and bought some more
i just took that pic 20 minutes ago to answer your question!

if you are referring to when i said "that sucks that they're out of stock....", i meant that is sucks to be the folks who couldn't find them at their stores
my local Circuit City has a huge display of them, or at least they did last nite after I got off work

  12. Good luck with the TDK's.....tried them a month or so back from Best Buy....Glad I kept my receipts.....tooooooooo many coasters for me with both my LiteOn and Panasonic burners.....neither one liked the TDK DVD+Rs......however...did not try the DVD-R dics....might be better....?

On the ones I bought, the dye color was not nearly as dark as found on the Fuji or RiData disks, both of which I have used without a single coaster.....100+ thus far.

Not sure about Panasonic, but LiteOn for sure doesn't (or didn't?) have that high of tolerance about media.

i'm using an LG GSA-4040B. it doesn't like -R or RW discs, but it's performed flawlessly with every +R I've thrown in it -- even worked great on CompUSA brand cheapo discs that DVD Identifier couldn't get a media code for...

Well I bought 4 of these last time they were on sale. I never got them to burn in a Sony DRU 510A, First media I ever bought that had problems with MY DRU 500A or My DRU 510A.

Tried firmware update. The driv e had been flawless until these damn disks. Then it started giving power calibration failed errors and it appears to me that tyhey may have toasted the laser??

Then I tried them in a Liteon 1633 and many fail during the burn or verification (Nero)

On the otherhand the Fuji -R & +R made in japan work fine for me. For the difference in price, currently I bought the +R Fuji Made in Japan @ $39.99 for a spindle of 100 at Best Buy, I'll pass on these. I Bought the +R Fuji this time as they were Japan Vs the -R made in Taiwan, Whereas last time when they were $9.99 the + & - Fuji 25 pk were all made in Japan.

for 31.48 Vs 39.99 per 100 I'll stick with the Fujis, So far no Coasters. I made more coasters out of the 75 TDKs I bought then in all the years Since I bought My DRU500A in November the year it came out.

YMMV obviously. It may also be my fault since they only had the TDK Taiwan when I went and I was trying to be cheap!!

    Cheers
