    Hello, Hope someone may have an idea as to why my version of dvd shrink freezes every time I try to copy a dvd. It starts doing it's thing then just stops. Not sure if its somthing wrong with my comp or shrink. Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks!

    What are the movies? If they are newer it could be the Sony ARccOS copy protection.

    Try using AnyDVD (Free for 30 days) along with Shrink and see if that cures the problem.

    Please provide a little more info.

    Does DVD Shrink freeze during the ripping process or the encoding process. Does the whole computer freeze when dvd shrink freezes.

    I see from your computer details your hard drive is only 20GB, this is very limited to making dvd backups, maybe you are out of disk space.
