GT4 available Stateside

Just picked up my copy after work tonight and played it for 4 hours straight. I spent over half that just digging through the cars looking for which one I wanted to start out with. Did a few races and did a lap on the Nurburgring just for fun. Tried photo mode and took a snapshot of my first car, the HPA tuned R32 MkII, in New York. Apparently you can print these borderless 4x6" to an Epson printer. Now I have a second use for my brand new Epson R320 and a reason to get 4x6 photo paper. You can apparently also save the photos to a USB memory card but mine is at work so I can't mess with it. Wonder what kind of quality I can get from my Sony photo printers at work. Game looks astounding so far

I thought the release dates were mid March. For all of you Xbox fans, I saw that the release date for Doom III is early March. Could be mistaken though.

Of course it's only for PS2, it's Gran Turismo! It's amazing to think that the PS2 has some juggernaut games made for it alone, even if perhaps they release them to other platforms later. You've got the GT series, the GTA series, and the FF series. All three generally sell copious amounts of preorders and end up being a top-selling game for quite a while. It is for these reasons that Sony has a big up on the competition.

GT4 is definitely worth owning if you're a car lover. It combines the beautiful graphics (updated even) of GT3 with the hoardes of cars and tracks that GT2 had. They even brought back the High Speed Ring from the original
