I've just entered into the foray of DVD ripping, and have a small problem.
Flask is my program of choice. And on my new 1Ghz AMD system, rips in about five hours. The problem is that it's quite quiet.
I've tried other programs, and haven't found them to my liking. What's some advice? I had thought about ripping the AC3's out, and then converting them to WAV, and combining the AVI and the WAV, but it seems there should be an easier, one step way to do this.

My choice : using SmartRipper for ripping the Vob's (in WinMe) and FlaskMPEG6.0 (in NT4) for converting it all to AVI.
No problem at all : I have an Athlon 1.2Gz and lots of free disk space...
