I dont know anything about dvd back-up or dvd ripping, any recommendation program or how to know/test if there still a chance to copy the dvd.

  3. no, it can't but when I click the drive I can see two folders one - karaoke and the other video folder and have files in it. I tried to copy the folder in my hard drive it did copy some files but not all due to error.

what to you mean buy a backup? buy a new dvd?, it would be easier to buy but unfortunately, its an old copy and the company that produce this karaoke already closed down due to bad economy, I cant also try the internet coz its only available in my country and its not that popular.

  4. You might try using Dvddecrypter to try and dump files to HD first. If you get any errors, you can ignore them to get through that DVD and that particular file will be deleted but you may be able to save alot of the other data this way.
