Here's my problem. I'm editing out the commercials from the UofM v MSU football game (the one with the triple overtime) so I can burn an archive disk. After I downloaded and before I started editing I upgraded to iMovie HD (5.0). I shoulda waited...somehow I "cleared" the third quarter of the game and I need to get it back.
In iMovie 4 you had to empty the trash to get rid of the material you'd cleared from various clips. All that I can see in the iMovie trash now is the header clip that recorded when I was testing the connection. I tried the Unclear command but that only went back two steps. I know this stuff I cleared must be somewhere...isn't it? I'm hoping I can recover this and restore the third quarter.
Thanks!

Found it!!!!! In the Advanced Menu there's a command Revert to Original! Whew! I reverted all the clips I had edited back to original and guess what? Whe ESPN rebroadcast the game as an "Instant Classic" they left out the 3rd Quarter, probably because neither team scored. But anyway my other bad edts where I deleted a touchdown by mistake have been restored.
