Huffyuv or Pic video for avi captures? want BEST picture.

whats the best captureing program to use PIC-video or HUFFYUV..

i have been using picvideo with quality setting of 19 so far it looks ok but i want better quality.

last nite i did a capture with quality setting of 20 with picvideo it looked significantly better.

but can it get better picture quality using HUFFYUV for my 720x480 captures.

so which should i use?? i want the captured source to look identical too.

here's my system specs i know it helps to know it too.

256mb pc2700
160 gig 8mb HD
geforce3
winfast tv 2000

If your capture card captures in YUV 4:2:2 colorspace (and most do) then HuffYUV will be completely lossless. Can't beat that.

HuffyUV is better
PicVideo is @ 19 is okey for typical analogue sources using composite and s-video in (like TV broadcasts, VHS/SVHS tapes).
