I recorded some South Park episodes on one DVD-R with my Panasonic E100, but didn't close the disc. Later I added one more edited episode but it didn't get recorded well so I ERASEd it. Later I tried to read the DVD-r but I can't. The PVR always gives a message of "Disc Error". Is there a way to salvage the previously recorded episodes?
Thanks
George.

For clarification... it didn't "go bad" ... it was always bad.
Essentially ... no.
Try to read it on a good DVD-ROM in the PC. Run some read tests and surface scans, to see if it is really bad, or a stubborn player.Want my help? Ask here! (not via PM!)

Personally, I don't see the point in erasing a program recorded on a DVD-R. It won't free up any space.
