  1. I know many of you probably don't believe in God, but this is just something I have to share. It's not every day that someone walks away from being thrown from an automobile at 70 MPH

My brother and five other guys where inolved in a car accident yesterday.

They were in a jeep coming down HW 45 on their way to a prayer walk at HBU when the brakes locked up and the driver lost control. My brother usually wears his seatbelt, but it was broken on the side he was on. He complained about it when he got in, but the other guys told him not to worry about it. So they were going about 70 MPH down the highway when it happened... the car spun a few times and flipped a few times I think, and my brother and a couple other guys were thrown from the jeep. There were a couple other cars with them, so they called 911 and some of them went back to Huntsville where my sister was. They told her about it, and she called my mom. She found out they were going to be taken to the hospital in Conroe, so she called my parents and me and headed down there. My dad left from a meeting downtown and I went and picked up my mom and we all went to the hospital. My brother was able to call my mom with his cell phone from the ambulance and he told her he was certain his left arm was broken and that he was pretty sure his left leg was broken because he couldn't feel or move it and that his upper back was really hurting.

Our church has an awesome prayer network, so there were lots of people praying for him and everyone involved.

When we got to the hospital some of his friends had already arrived. The hospital didn't even have a room for him... they just had him laying in a hallway, so they were really strict about how many people could visit him at once. I was able to go back and see him... he seemed to be fully alert. They eventually did a CAT scan and X-Ray and other testing and it turned out that none of his bones were broken and he had no internal injuries. They released him and the others from the hospital and they were all able to walk out on their own. Praise the Lord! My brother is even back in school today.

God really used this event to glorify His name. Not only were there no permanent injuries, but there were also 15 or so students there in the hospital and while they were waiting for news, they went around praying with all the sick people... and they're still going to go back soon for the prayer walk at HBU (probably with even more people). All I can say is Hallelujah!

The strongest position is on your knees. It applies in many situations.
