  2. PIONEER DV-343 or the new model which has mp3 support PIONEER DV-444. I have the DV343 and it plays everything.. svcd's should be maximum bitrate of 2450 which is pretty damn good.. I love it.

  3. i saw that pioneer dv444 that thing even looks sleek....so if i get an svcd...i can just burn it directly to a cdrw and then pop it in and play it? cause i have been having horrible troubles with trying to get an xvcd to play on my damn toshiba...i've had to encode a whole lot and then the damn thing still wont work....as you can see im a little heated about this...but anybody who has the dv444...how is the mp3 feature and has anybody tried the dvdrw capabilities?

  4. What model TOSH do you have, as I have a sd210e multiregion and rce mod'd and its plays everything I can throw at it. Even plays xvcd's and xsvcd's upto about 2200 bitrate(xvcd) sorta stable (2000's fine) with 228 sound.

How do you enode and burn and what with (might not be the player)

Or does this put the spanner in the works of wangaling a spanking new DVD for Christmas.

    Cheers
