I hope you can help me with a problem I'm having installing this wonderful *sarcasm* product. (I'm borrowing this capture card) I connect the hardware correctly and when the Studio Assistant runs to check the hardware it stops at 95% saying to reboot my machine and try again. It doesn't tell me what is wrong or anything.
So, I have removed my LPT port, changed it from Epp to Ecp (or what ever that is.) I've even disabled my sound card and uninstalled the dos stuff that the sound card can do and ending all my background tasks. I don't even have a printer plugged into the capture card.
Has anyone been down this street before and has a possible solution for me?
I've been to the Pinnacle System's website and forum for this prodcut, but since it's a discontinued item no one visits the forum anymore.![]()

does it help if I say that I'm running win98 2nd edition on a Compaq Presairo 533mhz celeron

so maybe this is easy for you guru's to answer.
I'm looking at the owners manual for the required configuration. The question I have is regarding the CPU.
The required is Intel Pentium 133 or equivalent processor.
I have a celeron 533mhz. Would that be a equivalent?
Recommended is a Intel Pentium 166 (or higher) with MMX support.
