I am using Ulead VS8 to capture, edit, and burn some old VHS tapes. The video that I am working with has a greenish tint throughout the entire 45 minutes. Is there any way that I can alter the color to make it look better using video filters?

This was an old home movie (1989) so I believe the color had to do with the camera and white balance issues. I was playing around with UVS8 this morning and messed with the video filters as was able to change the color. It is still not as good as I would like for it to be but it will do. I was just wondering what other use to correct color problems in video and what success they had.
