Effect of AGP card on making DVDs

I am presently using CyberLink PowerDirector 3 to edit, produce and burn DVDs. My motherboard has a fairly feeble graphics chipset (NVIDIA 220D). I am wondering if I would see any improvement in how long it takes for these three processes if I installed an AGP card.

Also, I would like to know which will be likely to benefit me the most in an AGP card, processing speed or memory size? Please keep in mind that I am only interested in speeding up making DVDs, not at all in game performance.

Some particulars of my system:

MB: ASUS A7N266-VM
CPU: AMD Athlon XP 2400
Mem: 512MB
OS: Windows XP home (SP2)

The short answer is none unless your making 3-D animations....

Display Video cards have no effect on DVD encoding with a few exceptions.

Some "capture" cards and others like the PVR series and ATI All in Wonder include hardware MPeg encoders. These take the load of encoding MPeg2 during capture.
