Hello all,
Just brought a Maxtor 250 gig w/16 mb cache for storage. After setup, windows shows 233.76 gigs. I know hard drive makers uses 1 gig = 1 million bytes formular, but just want to know is this is correct.
Thanks

In the formatted world 1 Gig = 1024 mb, that's how Windows measures it.
