Lets hope the British public treat this with the complete indifference it deserves.

According to the sheep who responded at the BBC web page, she is now Britains biggest sporting hero. Hmmmmm, sport ? Who came in second then ? Errrrrr Hero ? She was hardly rescuing sqaddies from Dunkirk.

This shit will be all over the news now for ******* ages, as pundits crow on about how brave she is, what a hero, an inspiration to us all etc etc etc until she pisses off for another cruise around the globe under the guise of heroism.

Still, she's got a stack load of ironing to come back to.

Where's that ******* "global killer" meteorite they keep promising us ?

Actually, England's greatest heroes are (in no particular order):

At least, in my opinion they are. (The last bloke is John Fairfax. He was the first person to cross the Atlantic, alone, in a rowboat. No engine. No sails. Just a sextant and a compass to guide him. And he did it in 1969. http://www.oceanrowing.com/activearchive/john_fairfax.htm )
