I've been using SVCD2DVD for a while now and its the best program i have used to convert my svcds. But recently a friend has been unable to play a few and keeps telling me its half screen or slightly off, Ive spoke to chrissyboy about this and he suggested i use pan and scan which i have done but my mate is yet to give me feedback, but im just wondering if Applying Pan & Scan to all the DVD's i will cause any problems ? or will i get the same playback as i did when i didnt use it, i know it takes more processing time but i dont mind that. Thanks

I think the only issue you will have is that the 16:9, widescreen flag is set in the DVD IFO files, when you do the Pan & Scan process. How this looks and how you can deal with that will depend on your DVD player..... You should be able to override it.
Do a few "small" tests to see.SVCD2DVD v2.5, AVI/MPEG/HDTV/AviSynth/h264->DVD, PAL->NTSC conversion.
