  1. hi folks, i didn't see a subject header on this one, but maybee somebody can help me.
i recently purchased a pinnacle pctv pro card, but am having a bit of a problem. i have my cable (rg 59 or 60) i forgot exactly what rg it is, but it's coax, connected to my pct tv card, but i can not get perfect reception. i thought at first, that it might be my cable connection, but after having my local cable company, actually come out and installing a brand new rg cable, it became apperent, that this was not the problem. and so i turn to the forrum. does anybody, or can anybody, please explain to me, the reason why this is happeneing. i.e do i need a signal amplifier or somthing. the way my signal looks is, a picture with lots of horizontal lines across it, kind of staticy (just a little bit of static).
    anything will help.
    thanks.

  2. Hard to say without a picture. Can you post a sample frame that shows the problem?
