Movie only

Hey, I have been using the dvd rebuilder/cce combo to backup a full dvd. Can an encoder do movie only instead of a full movie backup? I never watch the extras, since all I want is the movie. The newer movies that I have bought seem to be getting bigger and bigger in file size(7.3 gigs for main movie). How can i encode with movie only? Thanks.

Rip with DVDShrink and reauthor movie only. Hit backup and ignore the warning about it being oversize. Then point DVDRebuilder at the output from Shrink.

When you reauthor with Shrink, make sure you set compression to No Compression., and output it to a HDD folder. Then you can run Rebuilder over it.

Awesome, thanks for the quick reply! Before coming here I tried movie only with dvd decrypter and after dvd decrypter finished its job, i used dvd RB. I then burned it to dvd-r, it wouldnt play on any standalone dvd players. I will give dvd shrink's movie only a try and post my results tomorrow. Thanks.
