Hello all , first post here. Has anyone opened up a Panasonic Dmr Series machine I.E. DMR-E65 inside there seems to be a sealed Ram drive? Can this be opened and the lens be cleaned ? Im fed up with sending them back. I use the Recomended Panny wet cleaner disc (which is now imposible to get hold of) but after a while this exercise seems futile. If anyone has successfully opened a cleaned one or knows a link,,, Cheers

I don't recommend it. Instead use one of the common laser lens cleaners available everywhere. They have nylon bristles on the data side. Keep the lens clean without scratching it

I cleaned me E-20 when it went bad, didn't make any difference. Not real easy to open up and get back together.

I use compressed air first. SHouldn't need cleaning if you use clean disks or use dvd in carts.
