Quick question. Tried searching this in the forums but found nothing. I am using maxell dvd-r taiyo yuden media code to make my backups on my plextor px-708a. These discs used to show all good sectors when I scanned them with nero cd-dvd speed after burning. But now when I am scanning them every scan I have done today off of the same stack has bad sectors at the end of the disc. My question is, can bad sectors on a disc be caused by a dvd-burner going bad??? Thanks for all your help.

Yes it can.
What does the Disc Quality Test show?If PIE is <280 and PIF is <20 I wouldn't worry about it....especially if the DVD plays back properly.
