i've had servaral dvd players & they've all started freezing & showing blocks on the screen, some were green.also sometimes the disc will jump and skip ??????now as i mentioned early this keeps happening to diffreent makes ?2nd whats the best 5.1 or 6.1 in surround systems?which ever is best can you reccommend a good but cheap unit?thanks.

Does this happen with burnt discs and/or originals? If they are burnt dics how did you create them? What sort of blanks did you use? Which DVD players have you used? You want the best 5.1 system but it has to be cheap How much do you want to spend? www.aria.co.uk do a set of 5.1 speakers with digital input very cheap, looking at the comments on their website they seem to be ok http://www.aria.co.uk/ProductInfoComm.asp?ID=10929

all i'm using is r2 dvd disks ones that you buy from the shops the players work for a few months then start playing up?you did'nt say wheather 6.1 is worth getting? can you recommened any good but reasonbly priced suurround systems?also i'm on the look out for a dvd recorder-plasma tv?thanks
