    Do I need a DVD-ROM to rip DVDs or can SmartRipper locate a DVD drive in the E:/ drive.

    You need a DVD rom to rip a DVD...no way around it.

    heh....u would think by now when it's called a DVD-ROM...u need it to play DVDs...i've said this so many times....don't be a cheapass and go yerself a freakin' DVD-ROM
