I'm new to TMPGEnc and creating vcd/svcd's. My problem is this, I have a quicktime movie file I want to convert to SVCD. I don't know the framerate as the stats don't show up in quicktime 5.0.2.
I can encode the file and burn a vcd at pal (352x28resolution without a problem, but when I play back the same file encoded as an svcd, my television flickers!! The same plroblem occurs when I double the PAL res to 704x576.
As I said, vcd's play fine and my dvd player can play cd-r's.
Any suggestions?
