When I capture a video I get big pixels (always when it's widescreen I think) in the picture. I never get it when capturing other sources.
I'm not so good in explaining this so I have a picture which you can see what I'm talking about.
I use VirtualVCR, and then TMPGEnc
captures in 720*576 (PAL)
Can I change this in any way in VirtualVCR and/or TMPGEnc?

Looks like deinterlace or typical 720x480 aliasing.

Deinterlacing results in a blurry picture so it would be great with another solution.

If you are planning to play back on a TV, don't worry about it. If you want to play it back exclusively on the PC, look at the deinterlace filters for virtualdub - there are some very good ones around.
Read my blog here.

Smurf meant your sample looks like it has already been deinterlaced. It looks that way to me too.

And bad deinterlacing too...

Thanks for the replies.
Guess I have to live with it.
Since it is better on television it's okay.
Thanks.
