  1. I've got a DVD of a japanese movie and it already has permanently encoded english subtitles which I want to keep. I'm trying to convert the movie into the VCD format using DVD2SVCD. So obviously, I'm using the DVD2VCD version of DVD2SVCD.

The DVD itself is region-free and the only audio track available is in japanese. My problem is whenever I try to open the main IFO file for the movie, it keeps on coming up with a error that says 'No audio stream matches the audio languages! The following audio languages is available: japanese, unspecified'. I click on OK and I'm then taken to the 'Conversion' tab and the IFO file is selected and the movie length and chapters show up but, I can't select ANY audio track at this point. Whenever I try to tick the japanese language tick box under the 'Selected audiotracks' title, it doesn't allow me to tick the box.

What am I doing wrong? Do I need to change a setting or something? If so, how?

  2. Doesn't matter people. I've fixed the problem. I needed to change the language priority to japanese under the 'audio' tab in DVD2VCD.
