Zenith IQDVC2350 DVD player does not play DVD-R media

Hi,

Can anyone tell me which media is working in this DVD player?
I burned Bestbuy DVD-R 4X in Benq 1620 dvd rewriter and tried to
play in this DVD player but error comes up "check disk" and then
"check regional code". I read the manual and it says if you try to play
any unauthorized media then this error will come up. I tried both with regional free DVD and region 1 dvd but same problem.

Please anyone who use this DVD player with burned dvd media can
tell me the brand name of the media, formats and brand name of
dvd rewriter.

Retail DVD's or copies. If they are copies, you are most likely authoring them wrong.

Yup , this player should play , try to change what media you are using , dont think this is it but you can try.

yes, I found the problem, it seems like this DVD player has compatibility problem with Banq 1620 drive. I burned smartbuy 4x DVD-R, memorex 4x DVD-R and benq 8x DVD-R with NEC 6500A (Dell laptop) and all played perfect without any problem. I haven't tried DVD+R, DVD-RW and DVD+RW yet.
