anyone know stuff bout TVs?

I have a Mitsubishi 62 inch wide screen TV, its not plasma. Will playing video games on it ruin the TV?

No reason it should as long as you're not leaving things paused for a long time. That can cause burn in.

I agree completey with ViRaL1. Unless, that is, you get ticked off and throw the game at the TV.

This has been asked before. Somewhere around here there is another thread that goes into it a little more. But the general consenses(sp) is that as long as you don't leave the game on all of the time and maybe turn down the brightness every thing should be OK. Uhh maybe you better do a search, it seems like I might be leaving something out

I think I really exhausted this topic when buying my LCD tv. No burn-in concerns with LCD but as long as it isn't paused for too long or static images aren't on the screen for an extended period of time, it should be fine.
