    Found one of my discs with the S03 media code to scan. This disc was burned @4x, on an NEC ND-2500.

    Ok. This disc had a sticky label on it. (From quite awhile back - Would NEVER use a sticky label anymore). I used a razor blade, and it actually came off fairly easy. The bottom of the label was no longer sticky, instead seems to have peeled a very fine layer of laminate off the top of the disc. Here are the scans after label removed.

    lol...Gotta love the 11,000 PIF difference a sticky label makes. Sticky labels dont hurt a disc at first...But over time...yeah. This disc was burned in July..So in a little over 6 months, a sticky label went from harmless - to making it a coaster definite.

    (Those arent single spikes in the PIF graph on the first one...they were huge clustered groups of PIF's totalling 10,000!)
