Help encoding with DVD Santa 3.45

I encoded and burned D*dgeb@ll to a memorex 4x-R dvd and when I play it back on a stand alone dvd player, there are 2 very large black bars at the top and bottom of the screen. I would have to say that the video only takes up 1/3 of the screen, the rest are the black bars. At first, I thought I chose the wide screen format but I doubled checked and my defaults are all set to full screen. The original source file is .mpg telesync if that helps.

It is THE place to go, so long as you own the content or it's public domain. You bringing warez to the site endangers the very site's existence, and you'd have quite a few 1,000's of people pissed at you if your flagrant ignorance to the rules caused the site to be taken down - hence the attitude
