    Hi guys.
What is is that I need to do to ensure my DVD backups are playable on an Xbox please?
Or is it just a case of finding a particular media brand that works?
I am using a HP DVD200j (flashed to a RICOH MP5125), BulkPaq DVD+R's and DVD Decrypter to burn.
    Thank you.

Ok, so it is media dependant, not the way the film has been written/ authored.
    Ok, thanks.

  4. Depending on what version xbox you have (how new it is) you will have a different brand of dvd drive. I have 4 xboxes in my apt. and me and my roomate back up alot of games/movies. Between the two of us we've used alot of the popular media out there and i have never once had a dvdr that wouldn't play. It even plays dvd-rw and dvd+rw. And i would say yes it would be more media than the way you burn the dvd. But like i said i've never had a dvdr that wouldnt play on xbox.
    hope that helped.

No, that's not true either. Pay attention to BOTH of them.
