  1. I have been having some trouble recently when trying to backup my movies. I have either been having dvd shrink freeze when its trying to write the final stage of the dvd, or this error comes up:

Does anyone have any idea on whether its NERO, DVDSHRINK, or my dru530a burner thats causing this problem?_
Also, another odd thing that hasnt happened in the past with my dvd's is that, when dvd shrink is done, it says Dvd Shrink encountered an error and cannot continue

  5. I think you'll find that this is a problem with Nero.

Seems to be something to do with writing Disc-At-Once and finalising the disc. If you choose not to finalise the disc then it will record ok.

I spent a couple of hours trying to determine this problem. Even swapping my DVD burner into another machine only to have the same problem.

I don't know whether the latest update for Nero resolves this problem, but I now use DVDecrpyter to write my ISO to DVD. This works everytime with no problems.

  6. @Dains11- you might want to remove your Nero serial from your post.
